Mucus plug question

Beverly • Sat, Nov 21 • I'm 24 years old. Pregnant with my 2nd. I have a daughter who is 4. I kinda want another girl but will be happy no matter what. Fiancé is hoping for a boy.

Does your mucus plug have to be bloody when you lose it and what color should it be and is it like a gush a fluids? I'm 31 weeks and thought I lost mine but wanna be sure.
