My first pregnancy- 38 1/2 weeks. Question...

For those of you who have gone through the process, did you feel really weird before you knew you were in labor?

I've been having severe insomnia the past few days, somewhat shaky breath, diarrhea, irregular contractions, cold sweat...a lot of symptoms of pre labor (which I know could last for days)

But I just feel so WEIRD! Weirdest feeling ever. Maybe it's the delirium...maybe it's the hormones...probably both. Did anyone else out there have an odd feeling?

I've already spoken to the nurses and I know when to go in and all that, I just wanted to know if anyone else experienced this and if so, for how long before you went into active labor?
