Terrified

7 months ago I had a horrible bumpy rash around my asshole. I had just shaven and assumed it was that. Walking, sitting, everything was painful especially wiping. That’s when I knew it wasn’t just razor burn. It went away after a week and I got tested a day or so after at my Gyno. Since the sores were gone she couldn’t swab but she did do a blood test. It was negative. Shockingly. I moved on and never told my partner because I figured no need to worry him. I have been with the same partner for 3 years. He has never had signs/symptoms of STDs and I get tested once a year at my annual and have always been clear. My partner does, however, have HsV1 as in cold sores. But he doesn’t get them super often and usually avoids kissing me and such when he has one. Now flash forward to 3 days ago, I had a few more small painful bumps in the same place. Same symptoms as last time. Now I’m convinced its herpes for real and that I got the blood test too soon the last time. I have an appointment to be swabbed tomorrow morning but am absolutely terrified to tell my partner. Even if he somehow gave it to me from a cold sore I think he will have a very difficult time accepting that and will deflect by blaming me saying I’ve cheated and will inevitably leave me which would destroy me. We really do have an amazing relationship and everything has been picture perfect (for the most part) the past 3 years. 10000% no infidelity. We are so in love and together every moment. I know I have to tell him what’s going on I’m just terrified of getting blamed and him leaving me when I’m 99.9% positive he gave it to me. 😥😥😥 please help.
