Sharp pain in rectum after sex?

Every now and then I get a very sharp stabbing pain in my rectum after sex, it's pretty high inside me. And it hurts to pass gas or try to poop... & hurts for a day or two. what could this be ?

So glad I'm not the only one who experiences this! I have this same thing, only if I orgasm, but it's not every time. Just randomly. Also feels like very far inside. I've never asked my Dr or GYN about it so I don't have an answer for you. But you're not alone. For me the pain lasts about 5-10 mins, then goes away like nothing. Does not seem related at all to any GI issues at least I've never been able to correlate the two. Good luck!

If you orgasmed it could just be cramping. My Dr said that was normal. But if it's in your butt, you should get that checked
