Ovulation sides?

Question

I can usually always feel which side I’m ovulating from each month. I always get one sided cramps/shooting pains on ovulation day. Most months I believe it alternates sides, but to be fair I haven’t paid as much attention as I have now that we’re trying. For the past 3 cycles, my ovulation cramping/pains have been on my right side. 
I guess I’m uneducated on the matter. Is there any reason for this? Is it bad? Normal?

Normal. Your ovaries take turns. There's no rhyme or reason behind which one does for that particular month. Like 2 months from the left, the next 1 from the right, the next 3 from the left, the next 2 from your right. Whatever have you. That's just an example. As long as you're ovulating, it doesn't really matter what side it comes from. Just that it does.
