General question

Does any of you ladies partner always pay for everything ? Mine does, he says it's his job as my boyfriend and refuses to let me pay! I've only ever paid for a few things but we like have to race to the check out before he gets there or his wallet is paying! Just wanted to know is this common in other people's relationship? I feel bad I want to pay my way too! Feel bad on him but he doesn't seem to be bothered by it!
