My fault?

I've always been really kinky in the bedroom I love being dominated and slapped etc… I've been with my boyfriend just under a year and lastnight we were having sex and it was getting really saucy and I told him to slap me in my face and he did and we were kinda role playing I was acting helpless telling him to stop (but we both knew I was loving it and I didn't want him to stop)  and he kept doing it and it was great but then he started punching me in my face and when I told him to stop I actually meant it… it got a bit aggressive and as a result of it I now have a black eye and haven't spoken to him since… he's been sending me messages saying he's sorry and that technically it's my fault for instigating the violence and I can't help but agree tbf I do kinda feel that it was my fault… should I just get over it and apologise for not talking to him?
