No teeth??

My 10 and a half month old still has no teeth. He’s gone through the “teething” symptoms since he was about 5 months old but nothing has happened. He’s had itchy gums, discomfort, loss of appetite and irritability as well as reduced sleep sometimes but I never see anything happen when it goes away. It’s kind of periodical. He doesn’t have the symptoms 24/7. But I just don’t know if it’s normal. I feel like he should have had at least one tooth by now. He eats chicken, meat, pasta, absolutely everything just fine so it doesn’t quite impair him. But idk I just find it odd. Anyone else had the same problem with your LO?

My first got her first tooth at 11 months. It's normal. My friend's baby didn't get any in until he was 14 months. It's fine and normal. There's nothing to be concerned about. They come in at their own time.

My son had teething symptoms from about 5 months but didn’t get any teeth to cut until 9 months.  He was fairly slow and a bit behind his peers.  He didn’t get his 1 year molars until 16 months.  Anyway, we were told by a few different people(including a dentist and a pediatric dentist that it seems that babies that get teeth later, tend to have healthy teeth throughout life(hope that’s true, *knock on wood*).  Also, we were told to use rougher things to chew on during the teething symptoms.  My son really only preferred to chew on his pacifier though.

My son started teething at 3m. At his 9m appointment I was told teeth would come in any day. How first tooth popped through literally during his 12m appointment. He'll be 2 next month and his bottom molars just came through a couple weeks ago. She kids are just reaaaaally slow. He saw a pediatric dentist this week and they said he looked fine

That can be normal for some kids.  My nephew had an X-ray at 14 months just to make sure teeth were there when he had no teeth yet at 14 months.  Right after that, they came in one after another
