My husband was diagnosed with Crohn's disease about 4 years ago and has been on meds since. He's been taking the drug IMURAN for about a year now after being hospitalized twice in 6 months. It's a more aggressive drug and has helped tremendously with this condition, but I've read a lot of things online that say this drug can cause low sperm count and even genetic damage to sperm. We've talked to his doctors about the drug and they always say they'll need to research it because they have no clue and then they come back and say they "think" it will be fine. (Really?) Does anyone have any insight or personal experience with this drug from the male standpoint when trying to conceive?
