When I first got with my husband he had roaches in his kitchen. I helped him get pest control and they come and spray every other month. I live with him now and they are totally gone. So maybe instead of freaking out you should help him come up with a plan to get rid of them.

Yes. My now husband use to stay in some very infested apartments. It wasn't his fault because he is a clean freak. It was an ongoing issue that everyone had and the complex would never do anything about that got rid of them. We even called a private exterminator once and they basically said the problem was so severe that every home would need extermination at the same time fore months and the complex would never pay for it. He lived there for 2 years before he could afford to move to a better complex.

I want stated a guy who was 33 at the time, it was a fix up by a friend, as a favor because the mother asked her to fix her son up. With a nice girl obviously. When a guy tells you does it bother you that my mommy pays for our dates? I have never said ummmm For so long in my life, eventually said no? It was purely physical the boy had so many issues from dyslexia, he had a pillbox like a 90-year-old man he was on lithium, he was on acid reflux medication, he had ADD, ADHD. He was a crossing guard and a golf caddy because he couldn’t keep any other job, he was the runt of the family to say the least, so when I finally get to his place this is when it gets good, he lived alone which was fine, it was stipend as low income housing, because of his disabilities, he got a disability check as well, he did not have anything in his house, there was not one bottle of water, there was no towels, hand soap, nothing, because he went to his mommies house for everything. But what he did have was a giant duffel bag of corn, pizza boxes and a mess everywhere, a drippy bottle of lube on his bedside table, that was Worst part. If I went to the bathroom, well the first time I tried to, no soap, he said just dry your hands on any shirt that’s hanging in the closet, I said OK? Needless to say it was purely physical the guy could not have a conversation about anything that wasn’t a topic that he knew about, so it was basically golf, I had to learn about golf just to be able to have a conversation with the guy, if the physical aspect wasn’t good, trust me it would not have lasted for three months that it did. At least he was good for some thing. I also learned I cannot date someone who’s not smart That I can’t have a conversation with, I learned that physical aspect, you clearly need more, the guy smoked like a chimney, his mother was the sweetest woman, but he was clearly across that she must bear, to this day he still a crossing guard, and a golf caddy, he’s in his mid 40s by now￼￼, Still smokes like a chimney, his mother now helps my friends daughter, she was like the family mentor and took them in basically and she’s paying for her daughters college, he’s still a hot mess.
