PUPPP and Steroid Cream

Anyone using a steroid cream to treat PUPPP?

I am prego with twin boys and PUPPP just flared up out of no where over the weekend. It was just on my belly at first and then it spread to my thighs and forearms. I could not find any relief at all. I call the doctor and he put in a prescription for a steroid cream. But everything I read says only to use it if “the potential benefit justifies the potential risk to the fetus” - that doesn’t really sit well with me. Anyone got any advice on whether or not I should use it or if there is a yo there way to get relief from this terrible itching?
