Is this bad?
I’ve been giving my 7 month old Motrin when im not sure if she needs it. As far as I know she’s not teething, but for the last few nights on and off she’s been inconsolable. I’ve tried everything. Changing, extra feeding, burping, gas drops etc. and nothing works. I’ve checked her ears and she has no infection. She recently hit a leap and in the past 2 days I swear she’s grown like 2 inches and has started clapping and crawling over the weekend. I’m wondering if it’s possible that she’s having growing pains? She settles about 15 minutes after I give her the motrin. Is it bad to give it to her if I don’t know for a fact that she needs it? It’s not like I’m just giving her Motrin as the first resort. It’s after I’ve tried EVERYTHING.
She was a wreck on Friday and Saturday. She was okay last night but is acting off again tonight.
To add: we do a bath, bottle, skin to skin, and a book as part of our bed time routine. I’m also only giving it to her once a day. Not continually.
