Am I just hormonal and crazy or?

My SO and I have been together quite some years, he has two other children one of which he has full custody of and I have one other child. We tried for about 2 years and went through fertility treatments before finally conceiving on our own, here’s my thing- my family knew of our troubles, his didn’t because quite frankly, in my words they are selfish. So now that he’s told them his mom has been all upset and his dad literally didn’t even respond. This is SO hurtful to me, but he knew they would be this way. Am I crazy for telling him I didn’t want to invite them to the showers or the hospital? In my opinion we are happy and wanted this and if they want to be sour they can kindly piss off. I haven’t asked them to raise the baby or even to help and I won’t ever. So am I just a raging B for not wanting them around for a child they can’t be happy about?
