I have an appointment with my OB in a few days I just want to be prepared on what to ask her about.

I made the appointment specifically to check for PCOS because for the last 2 years or so I have struggled with the absence of my period. I will go 5-6 months without a period and then I will get it on time for 1-2 months and then it’s gone again.

I’ve also been struggling with excess facial hair and acne that started when my periods went wonky and I’ve read that could be due to PCOS.

Do these symptoms sound like PCOS or something else? What symptoms do you struggle with? What will they do at my appointment so I can be prepared?
