Help?

My boyfriend wants me to go on birth control and I dont want too. We haven't had sex yet and we dont plan to till we in university but it is not like we aren't doing any, we go stuff but nothing goes fully in and no sperm is ever by the vagina. I am worried about side effects and I dont want my parents to find out but he says I have to go on. What do i do?

If you don't want to go on birth control, then don't. He probably just thinks he'll let you have sex with him if you are on it. And that you'll let him do it without a condom. 
If you DO want to go on birth control, talk to the clinic. Im not sure what the equivalent of planned parenthood is in the UK. It should all be confidential from you parents. Besides, there are many reasons young women go on birth control besides just to have sex.

It is your body. Don't let someone else tell you what you can do with it. If you don't wanna take and and are 100000% sure you won't have unsafe sex then don't take it. Get on it a month before you plan to start having sex but if you are not now do what you feel comfortable with.
