Embedded IUD

Hey guys! My husband and I decided we are ready to add another baby to our mix so I went to go get my copper IUD out and my Dr couldn’t find it. She sent me for an ultrasound and I just got the results back that the left arm is partially embedded in my uterus. I can’t get an appointment with my OB for almost a month, so I’m not sure what removal is going to look like yet. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this? Do you have any advice to offer? And did you TTC after? Were you successful?? Thanks!!
