I’m confused

So I’ve posted on here a lot the last few days because I’m late on my period. I’m just so confused. I took a pregnancy test on my 3rd day of being late and it said negative. I plan on taking another one soon. But do I keep taking a test till it starts or no? Like since the first one was negative do I need to take another one?? What do I do if it just never shows up? Do I go to the doctor? Do I just accept that I skipped a month and go on as normal? How do I know when I ovulate next? The box for the test said if I don’t start within a week of the start date of my period I should take another one on that day. I’m gonna do it but do I take more after that? I really wish schools were more in depth about this kind of stuff because I’m clueless....and im 22!!! Sorry for all the questions but I am so confused.
