Best way to get cheap birth control?

When I say cheap, I mainly mean "affordable for a disabled person whose putting themselves through college and paying for an apartment on their own".

I personally did not like the pill when I was on it bc I gained so much weight and was sad all the time (which, my depression is worse ever since Rona came to town so in really not trying to make that worse).

I would like something like an IUD or the nexplanon arm bar but I feel as though those are really expensive for someone without insurance. (Plus the bar makes me nervous bc I feel like there's a chance it might now work). I'm unsure as to how much that stuff costs- I keep getting different figures, but all in all it feels expensive.

I've never been to the OBGYN for similar reasons- I'm in the US, our healthcare system is crap, and I can't afford that stuff. It's hard for me to find a job rn bc of my disability (legally blind, I can't drive bc I can't afford the glasses I need to see road signs properly) and because of the virus. I'm 19.
