Is your baby talking?

I’m curious where all our toddlers are in terms of talking

Mine says "Mama" "Dada" and "Baba" when he wants a drink 🥰

No. Just Dada.

Mine only says dada and the cat’s name. Our pediatrician told me she’s a bit speech delayed and if we don’t see marked improvement in a month we need to discuss it more. I’m not too worried because she understands a lot.

Mama, dada, nana, baba, hi, and yeah. We are working on Ninja (the cat’s name). 
At the pediatrician, I was asked “Does four baby say 8 words in addition to mama and dada?” Uhhh no? Then she said it’s totally normal to not hear much and I should see a big jump around 18 months and then 22-24 months again.

My son has about 50 consistent words but only about 1/2 are understood by people other than my husband or I. There’s such a wide range at this age of normal! Anywhere from 5-50!

She says Dada, Mom, Juice, Apple, Cheese, Baby and can say her name. She's working on Thanks. Juice, Baby, Thanks, and Cheese all kind of sound the same right now. Lol. She understands what we say pretty well. Around the house we tell her to go find dad or mom and she knows where to go to find one of us most times without calling her. She knows what bath time means and what her highchair is and where to put her cup on her tray when we ask her where it goes. She knows what toys are her bear, her baby, and her links. She knows what a hug is, what brushing teeth means, and where her room is. She doesn't like being put on the spot to say things though. She's bashful.

My daughter talks constantly, she says about 25 words. Her current favorites are cheerio, book, shoes, baby, good girl, bye-bye, and Abby (there’s a little girl in her class at daycare named Abby)
