So I have protein in my pee and I have a uti. Does UTI causes that

Protein in the urine can be a sign of other things.
1) you might be eating too much protein. 
2) infection in the body not just uti
3) preeclampsia 
4) stressed kidney and liver

I had the same thing, from my understanding the protein comes first which creates the UTI. I am on antibiotics for my whole pregnancy now because I have always had protein since I found I was pregnant.
