So my MiL is a piece of work but my fiancé is always going on and on about how much she loves us and how great she is yada yada yada. I’ve never been to her place, she barged in unannounced while I was pregnant this year (and touched my belly without washing her hands!), hasn’t called to see how the baby is once (baby is now four months old), and I’m just fed up with this woman. My fiancé asked her if she wanted to spend some time with our oldest this past weekend and she never got back to him (he communicates with her since she doesn’t answer when I call - literally one time she picked up when he called her but not my call one minute before). She clearly has no interest in our children except to post gushy things on all my photos 😒 we live near Quebec and she has never liked that I only speak English and has never tried to get to know me at all. She skipped our daughters first birthday party because she had “things to do” yet said she would have gone if we had changed the location of the party to my sil’s house and invited my fiancé’s whole family to come. She’s honestly pretty miserable but my fiancé only sees her good qualities and only ever views her favourably. When will he stop sugarcoating everything she does?? I seriously am losing it over here.
