So I just got into a relationship with my boyfriend him we have known each other for over 16 years and we were friends as we were children we went our separate ways and in life I am just so happen to get back into each others lives well my boyfriend had a cold sore and didn’t really know what is it now we had oral sex and I’m pretty sure I have HSV-2 I had gone to the doctors recently they tested it I am waiting for the results but at this point I fully except it that’s what it is, now my concern is how do I explain to him how this happened because three months prior I hadn’t been with anybody and I was recently STD tested and came out negative we even tested for herpes and they came back negative,  And then now it’s most likely positive so I am I just need a little bit of advice on how to have this conversation with him. Also do you guys have any tips on how to keep the sores dry and clean it hurts so much as this is my first outbreak and it hurts to walk I use a gentle soap and warm water a few times a day just so the itching and burning stops but what else can I do. Please help I feel so lost and I can’t talk to anyone else about this.
