Baby measuring big?

Hey guys just wondering if anyone else’s babies were measuring on the larger side. I had an ultrasound yesterday at my specialists office and they say baby is measuring in at 33 weeks and 4lbs 7oz. I’m only 30 weeks and 3 days so that was definitely a nice shock.

At our 26 week 5 days ultrasound, my boys were both measuring at 30 weeks in measurements and estimated weights of 2 pounds 4 oz and 2 pounds 6 oz and the ultrasound tech said that was big for twins and wanted to change my due date cause of them measuring so far ahead.  Like 3 different doctors including the one who referred me here said my due was that going off my LMP. And I know when I ovulated cause I did ovulation tests. So dates aren’t off. Lol they’re just gonna be big boys.

Yesterday at 30+2 I was told he weighed 4lbs. That's an increase of 33 oz in the past two weeks. Yikes alot. About the same but not as much at yours. It is a bit shocking and I've been starving so much recently and I have not gained any weight

My first child was that way. He was measured at 34 weeks weighing 6lbs 12 oz and he was born at 39 weeks weighing 9lbs 6oz. So yes they can be wrong but they can also be right! I think my sons measurement was pretty accurate for him to weigh that much at birth. This one so far is only measuring a week ahead.

At my anatomy scan my baby was measuring a week ahead of schedule weighing 14oz at 19wks. I haven’t had an ultrasound since then so who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️

Ultrasounds are typically wrong by a margin on either side, so baby might not be as big as they say. You don’t want him to measure too large or they will start freaking out about it. lol
