Private early scans?

Question

What do people think to private early scans and experiences etc? I’m thinking of booking one on Monday so I’ll be just under 8 weeks. I’ve had no symptoms what so ever which I know people don’t always get, but my anxiety is just through the roof every day. I won’t get a scan in the uk until 12 weeks, so approx 5 weeks + to wait. I’m really in two minds about doing it

You might be off on your timeline so if you are a little earlier than you think(it happens all the time depending on implantation) you’ll literally see nothing but a black spot since private is abdominal, IMO it’s a waste of money.  If you were going to do it before your appt I’d suggest waiting 2 more weeks and you’ll see a lot more!!!

I was exactly the same, I so badly wanted to make sure everything was ok after my nausea seemed to settle down but I was also afraid to find out.  In the end I booked one for the same day and was so so glad I did and I was bang on 8 weeks. 
It’s really a personal choice but I came to the realisation that if something was wrong it was better to deal with it sooner rather than later.
