Have any of you guys ever had kidney stones? What do they feel like and what did your dr do? Like is it a full on surgery or how do they go away?

I’m going on 32 weeks pregnant and have been having these extreme cramps that last for like 20 minutes where it hurts to move at all, can’t walk, can barely talk, and then they just feel like period cramps for another 30ish minutes. It happened last night and then again today. My dr said if I have them again, to call her office again and she’ll likely send me to the ER to be checked for kidney stones and now I’m all freaked out. She thinks it could be from constipation but I’m not that backed up and I’ve been farrrrr worse before and felt the cramps that come with constipation and this feels much more intense.
