How long??

How long after a c section do you start to feel normal again? Like no more pain and no more irritation? I’m starting to get really discouraged because I haven’t had a day without pain in weeks.

10 months I would say but I do still feel weird sometimes on my scar and some areas are still numb

I was more 6-9 months but my emergency csection was rough and I ended up losing 1.5L of blood which made recovery long and hard.

I think everyone is different. I was completely off of pain medication about two weeks after my csection. I just felt a little numbness but no pain after 2 weeks. Now I did still pulling and tightness when walking but it didn’t hurt and I’d say I felt 100% back to normal a few weeks after that!

For me it was at least 10 weeks before I felt 100% back to normal. I personally believe it’s longer than the 6 week recovery to feel completely back to normal like they say

Depending on what’s going on with your healing it could take a LONG time. Some people do, some don’t. I highly recommend checking out Nancy Anderson fitness. She address tissue repair and healing from the inside out with her programs.

It was about 9 weeks out for me. I am 20 months out now and when I workout too hard I still get a little pain in my csection site.

I feel like 6 months was when I was able to feel comfortable working out and stretching a lot .

Pain lasted about 4 weeks probably. But my incision is still sensitive and bothers me if one of the kids hits/kicks it. I’ve had two c-sections and even after 18 months, my scar was sensitive.
