Woke up with tonsillitis, should I go to work?

I am very prone to getting throat infections to the point where they need to remove my tonsils soon. I’ve had strep throat, tonsillitis, peritonsillar abscess, and now tonsillitis again all within 2-3 years. I’m only saying this because I’ve had so many infections to know that it’s not the coronavirus. We wear mask anyway.

Personally I wouldn’t go in. You are sick and need to rest up. 
I pick up tonsillitis very easily, you could still spread it about even with a mask on.
