28 weeks. BP 135/95. Headache. OBGYN said I could go get some labs tonight to check for preeclampsia but id rather not sit at the hospital for a few hours during a pandemic! What would you do?

Pre-eclampsia is nothing to mess with . I would get checked . Wear a good mask!

That's exactly how I felt when I got diagnosed with preclampsia with my last pregnancy and the exact week too. I ended up having severe preclampsia and gave birth at 32 weeks from emergency c section. Please go get checked. I ultimately went in for a check because I saw my nose had swollen a lot! And the headaches were pretty bad too. Plus sudden swelling of my feet and ankles that got really bad as well. Please don't wait preclampsia is not something to wait around on. Best wishes.

Can’t you go to L&D triage for that instead of the regular ER? I would feel safer about L&D for sure.
