Covid😭

I know this question is probably everywhere but I’m panicking too much to search. My husband and I just learned today that we’ve been exposed to covid, and our baby is 3 months old today. Has anyone else tested positive along with your baby? How’s your baby?😭

I tried so hard to protect her, I did everything that’s suggested. I wore the mask, we’ve been cooped up in the house for many months at a time but it wasn’t enough and now I’m beyond scared.

My daughter is currently showing zero signs, but I’ll obviously be watching her closely. Someone give me some advice please! 😭

Kids are supposed to fair well with it. We’re currently waiting on test results right now. Currently baby has been fine (3 months). Toddler is running low grade fever and just unusually fussy and clingy like she doesn’t feel good. I don’t want to be naive, but I’m also not very worried for my toddler or baby because baseline both are healthy and no underlying issues or asthma, ect. My husband and I also have mild symptoms so far. We’re in Indiana, it’s surging bad, no one is taking it seriously and still say it’s a hoax. Our hospitals are full. At this point I’d rather just get it and be done and have antibodies. Good luck to you all!

I’m a nurse in a Covid ICU... it definitely isn’t a joke or a hoax. I’ve lost so much faith in humanity this year.

We’re northern IN and I can’t agree more. If I hear anymore complaining about masks and letting kids go to school like normal/play sports I may lose it. This isn’t a joke.

My husband And I both had Covid about a month ago. My three month old had a high fever and got an ear infection, but she was never tested. The pediatrician said it was likely Covid. They put her on antibiotics and she was perfectly fine within a day.

What’s your definition of exposed? I slept next to my husband 2 nights when he had it and I was 38 weeks pregnant. I did not get it and neither did our one year old. If you took the proper precautions, I think you’ll be okay.

My husband and I had Covid twice! Yes twice during my maternity leave. They are sure my son got it the second time we had it. He had a low grade fever and a cough.

We were possibly exposed last week and currently waiting for them to get their results back (takes forever—will still be another day or two). We’re pishing our vitamins more than normal and hoping for the best. Hubs and intodah started having some GI issues and hope it’s a fluke. Both kids seem fine. Our newest (11 weeks) has acute respiratory failure and a slew of other issues so we’re just doing our best to not freak out yet. We did everything right too and I guess it wasn’t enough.
