Help with independent sleep
My baby is almost 16 weeks old and we still have to rock him until he’s completely asleep in order to go to bed or go down for a nap. I’m really trying to break that habit and start putting him down drowsy so he can try to fall asleep himself. So far 4 nights in a row it hasn’t worked. I’m bouncing him in a dark room with white noise until he’s almost asleep then the second I gently put him down he flails.
Does anyone have any tips on how I can get this going? I’m trying to avoid a difficult 4 month sleep regression. 😓
