Fiancé doesn’t want to look at venues

So my boyfriend of almost 5 years proposed 3 weeks ago. The same week he proposed, he had to leave to go work out of town for a week. His next available weekend, he went out of town again for a few days. He has off days during the week. I’ve tried to get him to go look at venues and he just won’t. He claims he’s tired or would rather go hunting. Is that a bad sign? I know he really loves me, but if he REALLY wanted to get married, we would actually talk about having a wedding. He doesn’t even really want to talk about it. He just says, “I don’t care,” or “you pick. I know it will be great.” I really want his help, but he won’t do ANYTHING. Maybe we should just not worry about a wedding right now. It just sucks to be so excited.

Edit: we are moving into our first house together in two weeks. He is the one that picked Fall of 2021. Most venues I’ve found are booked. We have had appointments to go look at venues and he told me to cancel them because he would rather us go hunting. I just want to find a venue and secure a date. Then the other stuff will follow later.
