Why would you do that? They won’t treat it now anyways you’ll get an IV when you go into labour. Skipping appointments is dangerous.

Well, it wouldn’t matter until your water breaks. But also, weekly checks don’t really tell you anything.

Don't skip appointments but there really isn't a reason for cervical checks unless you're in active labor.

There is no reason to have cervical checks regardless. I would skip out on them.

If you want them it should be fine. Just make sure you make it very clear you do NOT want a sweep. But honestly dilation and effacement don’t always indicate labor so you’d be fine with or without them!
