Pregnancy and exercise
Hi 👋🏼 I probably won’t get to see my doctor until I’m 8 or 9 weeks, and I feel weird calling just to ask about exercise. I wasn’t exercising prior to my first pregnancy, and planned on working some exercise in. Well I never did, gained 40 lbs, lost half the weight pretty quickly after giving birth, but gradually gained it all plus more back. I was 180 before I got pregnant with my son. Well I’ve recently lost 30 lbs and have been working out 5-7 days a week (Includes 1-2 active rest days). I have Beachbody on demand so I do different programs. As far as I know, it’s safe for me to continue my workouts, even the core exercises (until my belly starts to grow), but I wanted to ask just to be sure. I’ve been working out like this since June so it’s a huge part of my routine and I’d like to stay active and have a more active pregnancy this time around. Any experience with this? TIA!
