Are kindergarten teachers patient with kids who have never been in a school/lots of kids environment?

Worried momma here.

Daughter is almost 5 and because of her birthday she starts Kindergarten next year. I am TERRIFIED! I’m a SAHM while my husband works 12-16 hour shifts in law enforcement - his shifts and hours are never the same. Since we have one family car, I’m at home while he’s at work.

Our daughter has been only with me 99% of her life. She has only played with other kids twice in her entire life - both times went very well and she shared toys and had fun.

We had planned to enroll her in a summer program with other kids this year, but COVID it got cancelled.

Since she has never been in a school/peer environment, and has never been around SO many kids, I’m worried for her. I’m scared she will cry, be very confused and nervous. I keep seeing info online that kindergarten she is expected to pretty much be a well modeled pupil.

Any reassurance that lots of kids go through similar? That teachers will be patient and understanding to her adjustment period?
