My first was born at 39+5. Woke up at 3:30am to pee and noticed period-like cramps. Didn’t think anything of it because I wanted to sleep. Around 5:30 those period-like cramps turned into holy hell 100% the real deal contractions coming fast and furious. I went from cramps 7 minutes apart to painful contractions 2 minutes apart in one contraction. Couldn’t walk or talk through those so I called my OB, lied and said it had been like that for an hour, and went to the hospital. Got to the hospital at 7-ish, had baby at 8am.

39 weeks! I told the dr at my very first appointment that I refused to go over 40w. Scheduled my CS for day of but he came a week early because of an accident.

I was 37 weeks I get back labor but at the time I didnt know that I just had a bad backache half the day from like 1pm so I went to the hospital later that night like 11pm and they said I was 4cm and wasn’t going home so I got a room and spent 18 hrs in labor, was about to do my first push and had a seizure and code blued and got an emergency csection my daughter was born at 545 the evening after I went in .

Went into a slowly progressing labour starting at 40+3, didn’t progress due to baby being back to back, was admitted to hospital 40+5 at 3cm in the afternoon 3:30 pm, they broke my water and I progressed to 4.5cm by 6pm, but baby’s heart rate started dropping with contractions and my body was exhausted. They gave me a pitocin drip and I got the epidural at 7:30pm and was still at 4.5 cm, by 11:30pm I was 9cm and baby had finally turned properly. I was 10cm by 12am but they wanted to give baby a chance to descend gently to make sure he didn’t go into distress being in the birth canal for too long and make the pushing process much quicker. I started pushing at 1am exactly, and he was born at 1:31am on 40+6

40+5 my water broke. Was in labor for 18 hours, after 8 or so hours I needed pitocin because I wasn’t dilating enough
