Leaving my church

Has anyone ever experienced something like this? I have been at my church (Christian) for 10 years. I met my husband here, I got married here and made some of my bestest friends here. After much thinking my husband and I have decided to leave. The leaders have been abusing their power, over all belittle people and even have gotten people in trouble for taking a covid test (they don’t believe in it). I have cried multiple times after leaving church from how I have been treated. This isn’t about religion but has anyone else left an organization/church/group that they were a part from for a long time? How do you start to get over it. I honestly feel like it’s like a breakup. 😞
