Preparing Clothes for Newborn - How much to get?

Hey ladies,
Hubs and I are preparing clothes for the newborn next year. How many times do you change a newborn a day clothes wise? I’m planning to just get the pj zip style with foot/sock already attached. 
How many newborn pjs should I get?
How many 0-3 months pjs should I get?
I was thinking maybe 15 pieces each? Change 2x a day if needed (accident etc)
Let me know your thoughts. 
Or if I should just get 3 months and forget the newborn size? Just want the clothes to fit the baby properly so I don’t mind. 
How long will they wear the newborn size? And 3 month size for? Just trying to prep. 
Also, any good sites to shop for in Canada? Looking for deals since they will outgrow them fast!

That's tough to answer.....I was way over prepared for the newborn and 3-6 month phase and ended up giving away most of the clothing unused and unworn. I tried to not make the same mistake for the 6-9 month phase and kept it really simple, just a few of the basic items....well, my LO decided to "stall" growth in this stage and I ended up being unprepared. I was constantly buying during this phase.
Every LO is different. They grow differently and at different places. I would start with a solid set of basics and just be prepared to purchase more as you need.

Depends how big your baby will be... I had to get tiny baby for my 6lbs girl, but my 9lbs 8oz girl went straight into 0-3 months.
I’d say the main thing is to get 15 x 0-3 sleepsuits and plain vests. Try to get them all the same type of colour like all dark or all light so they can all be washed together.
As much as outfits are cute, they are a pain in the ass

My baby was 9lbs at birth, she was in newborn for about 2-3 weeks. Even though it was a short period of time I am glad I had that size because she was still too small for 0-3 sleepers. I had about 10 NB sleepers but I also had the gowns for when she would sleep, and the 10 sleepers would last me about one week before needing to do laundry!

my daughter was 7lb 13oz and worse newborn clothes and pampers for maybe 3 weeks. 0-3 month lasted a little longer she wore them from 1month-2 1/2 months. they grow fast so you don’t need too many of the small clothes because they won’t get to wear them all. about 2x a day for an outfit change is about right but if you have your own washer and dryer you shouldn’t have to buy so many of the pjs since baby won’t be them in for long anyway.
