So when I was 15-16 i ate at IHOP with a group of friends and saw an ex co-worker (who I admired for his work ethic) worked there. He happened to be our waiter. He was on top of his stuff and was amazing. I had a bag of coins and thought I’d be a great tip. Being the young naïve person I was I wrote a note that said “every penny counts” and poured this change onto the table in a nice pile. I thought I was being so clever and nice. Little did I know it was probably a huge slap in the face and made him think I hated him 🙃😅
