Not hungry !!?!

Question

I'm six and a half weeks, queasy, occasionally vomiting, constantly exhausted..... and not at all hungry!!!

I had to force myself to eat dinner tonight ..... Even though it was my first meal of the day.  At 8pm!!!

And I still was only eating it out of obligation, not hunger.

I just have zero appetite.

What is going on!?!? ...?? Is it the nausea?

Do/did you have this problem??

23 weeks here and still no appetite. I only got sick a handful of times but food just has very little appeal to me. I would have to force myself to eat some fruit or some cheese. I still have a hard time with meat. It's normal, but aggravating.

My doctor had to put me on meds to help combat those feelings. They only worked the few times I took them and then it was back to misery. It finally subsided by 16 weeks so hopefully it won't be too long!

Talk to your doc about trying something like ensure if you can stomach it.  I had hyperemesis for the first two trimesters with my first son.  He wouldn't let me eat anything and I even threw up water.  It was miserable and I feel for you.  Good luck and feel better.  😔

I was like this the entire time while I was pregnant with my son. It's normal. <3

I told my doctor that I had similar symptoms, or sometimes I'll feel hungry but then be uncomfortably full after a few bites. She said it's because hormones slow down your digestive system. She put me on some medicine that seems to help a little. So maybe mention it to your dr?
