Implantation sac??

Question

Has anyone ever heard of an implantation sac? I'm 6w1d and went for an US today they found 2 sacs and said one is full of blood. The sac with a heart beat is measuring right on schedule and looks sold and healthy. I guess my concern is not knowing anything about it, the US tech said she has seen it a lot, I've just never heard of it!?

I was told that the sack helps the embryo grow until the umbilical cord is formed fully and the nutrients can be taken from mom.

Ok I'm not a tech but that looks like twins to me on the right side of the smaller sac it looks like an embryo. I would ask your doctor to have take a look or have them ask the radiologist. It could be vanishing twin syndrome or that baby doesn't have as much fluid or whatever the tech explained it as. But yes I would definitely be asking questions.
