Are you meeting with ppl for thankgiving?

Just curious how many people are getting together & are they scared of covid?
I am not celebrating this year.

We’re just seeing my sisters family.  Her house has been very careful as has ours, so we see each other occasionally.  For Christmas there is more people but still not a ton.  we’re doing it outside and completely socially distanced (1 table per family situation)

I almost made the mistake of getting together with someone. I trusted that they were quarantining. Turns out they weren’t and got sick 🤦🏼‍♀️

I’m Canadian so we had thanksgiving celebrations in October BUT none of us got together
We are all scattered across the country and some of us in a different country
We just went about our day as usual 
It’s not worth bringing together people from different households which involved everyone’s touching the same stuff to possibly get sick

Nope, my family and friends are in Florida and my husband and I live in Colorado. His parents moved in with us earlier in the year. 
There’s no way I’m risking going to Florida to visit anyone nor are they risking coming to Colorado. I work at a college and we’ve sent our students home for the last few weeks of the semester to complete their courses remotely. I’m not risking my health or anyone else’s by unnecessarily traveling or gathering with others. Especially for a holiday that’s basically just an excuse to eat turkey and make more food than you need...

No. My parents are elderly and I’d rather skip thanksgiving than go to funerals next year.

It’s complicated. Ha. It should be me, my husband, my daughter, my mom, and my brother in law. My mom never leaves her house. She has a suppressed immune system, she works from home and has everything delivered. My brother in law is supposed to show up, but he hasn’t. Now that he has gone missing, if and when he turns up, I want to ask him to please not attend. I don’t know what he has been up to. I’m also 30 weeks pregnant and trying not to get sick. 
We aren’t super worried about if we do catch it, but we take every precaution NOT to catch it. Also, I am very passionate about protecting my mom. 
Prior to his disappearance, the brother in law was isolated in a cabin by himself for a month and a half. I didn’t feel he was much of a risk, until he disappeared.

Our family lives by us and we all take extreme measures to stay healthy and distance from others in public. It will just be me, husband, MIL, my grandma and my parents at thanksgiving this year, like it is every single year! We’re doing it outside and will wear masks until dinner time if necessary.

I got sick, my entire family got sick, my husbands family has been exposed/sick many times. 
We all felt like it was the flu, all are totally fine. Still getting together. Not going to let a spicy flu get in the way of the holidays and family.
