Do they think I abandoned them?.... 💔

I am a kitty cat foster momma! I absolutely adore it! It is the hardest, most time consuming, bank breaking, heart breaking, heart warming, and the most rewarding thing in the entire world! It’s my passion and I love it.

Recently the foster agency that I work through transferred 5 of my previous foster babies (older, nearly adult kittens) to a new rescue were they have a higher chance of being adopted. In my home they lived in a house. In a very large room with other fosters, room to play, and all of that good jazz. At this new rescue they are kept in a small almost cage like environment. They don’t have room to play, don’t have tons of human contact, it’s almost like they are in a zoo. I’ve posted a photo below for what they live in.

It absolutely breaks me heart. They are probably terrified and my biggest fear is that they think that I abandoned them and no longer wanted or loved them. Do you think that’s what they think and how they feel??
