EWCM but negative tests

Hey ladies, I’m CD11 and yesterday and today I have lots of egg white cervical mucus (the most I’ve ever had) but my OPK strips are coming back negative (just a super faint second line). Does this sound right? I thought when we saw ewcm it was close to ovulation?
