Back Labor???

I’m a first time mom and I’m 38+5 days pregnant. As of this past Tuesday I’m 3cm dilated and I’ve been having not too bad contractions throughout the majority of my day now. With the contractions I’m having bad back pain and when I told my sister that she said I’m going to have a back labor, what does that mean???

It just means your going to get the contractions in your back rather than your belly.

I had that with my daughter. Most of the pain I felt while in labor was in my back. I didn’t feel much in my stomach area.
