When did you stop testing?

These tests are 8-12dpo, all FMU. I had two chemicals this year, one that failed right away and one that lingered for about 6 days. Neither of those ever got this dark so I am feeling hopeful, but I am torn between continuing to test until I get a dye stealer or just stopping now. I know a dye stealer can a take couple of days and I just know I’ll make myself sick with worry if the test looks the same tomorrow as it did today but at the same time, I’ll worry if I stop testing 😥. When do you guys consider yourself safe?

It’s so hard to relax with this kind of thing. Just remember that not matter what happens, there’s nothing you can do at this point. Biology and fate have control right now. If testing is stressing you out more than not testing, stop testing and wait a couple of days for a dye stealer. You’re going to get one. Have you missed your period yet? These first few weeks are so hard. It’s like waiting for a bomb to go off. I’m only 5 weeks and some change. I still have a difficult time not testing every time I pee, but I was doing the same thing as you. When the test wasn’t markedly darker, I freaked out. It wasn’t helpful anymore and, again, anything that happens at this point is completely out of my control. We are going to get everything we want, girl. We’ve just got to wait it out! My first appointment is the 17th. When’s yours?

I think I tested with my first until the red dye was stolen completely from the control line. Maybe a week or so.

I'm at expected af, and I'm still testing, only with cheapies though. Eventually you just have to relax and believe in your body to do its thing. I had a chemical in September so I'm pretty anxious too. 🙈

Congratulations!!! Personally I would stop testing and call your OBGYN for your first appointment. I'm sure things will turn out the way you want them to. Positive thinking, healthy eating, and no stress :) if you keep testing you stress over the dye too much. What I have been doing to pass time is cooking elaborate new meals. It's a great distraction! I’m 19 dpo and still did a test this morning! I’ve had 3 miscarriages previously so I won’t really believe it until my 12 week scan
