💌 You're Invited! The Aug '2021 Sip & See Shower! 👶 🎉

Hi mamas!Congrats on welcoming the new baby!!! It's about time to enjoy this moment and celebrate, right? It’s a magical event, and that deserves an even MORE magical party! However, it can be daunting planning a party in times of a pandemic, and that’s completely understandable. But that doesn’t mean that the event has to suffer, WE can still throw a special party for each other! So just like a Sip & See party, let's CELEBRATE, PLAY GAMES, and SEND GIFTS to one another! Here's how to participate:1. Add a comment below that includes a short bio, your baby's photo, and your baby wishlist. 2. Also in your comment, include a "gift back" game of your choice. For example:- The first mama to guess how much did my baby weigh at birth wins a gift back!- The first mama to guess my baby's birthday wins a gift back! - The first mama to guess the correct gender will win a gift back!3. Find another mama that has posted a selfie, and SEND HER A GIFT. And make sure to include your answer to her game in your gift message! The most important thing is to HAVE FUN! I look forward to participating and gifting some moms on here!!=====REMINDERS:1. If you decide to buy a gift for someone, please make sure you ADD ORDER NUMBER of the product you purchased!2. If you received a notification that you've received a gift, don't feel obligated to forward a gift until you've received an order number or the physical gift from the gifter.3. If you've decided to participate, you're agreeing to the Community Gifting Rules. Breaking the rules may result in suspension or ban from the Glow Community.

Congratulations to you and your beautiful baby

Gift it forward! The Aug '2021 Babies Edition ❤

Hello all Glow Mamas! This post is inspired by the original "Gift it forward" topic created by a Glow Mama named Sarah to help more moms get their baby registry items purchased. (Which has been tough given how COVID has impacted many of our daily lives.) The way it works is similar to the ice bucket challenge that started on FB a while ago.STEP 1 → Post your baby registry or baby wishlist in the comment below, and we (Glow) will buy a Glow Premium subscription or some other gift in your registry/wishlist (for a total value of around $20).STEP 2 → If you received a gift, we'll comment on your link.STEP 3 → You then have to find someone else's registry/wishlist in the comments and buy something under $20 for them.Since everyone's babies in this group are born on the same month, consider this as buying a gift for your baby's Glow sisters/brothers!And hopefully, with this, more moms will have their whole registry/wishlist purchased!! 😊Ready? Set? GOOOO!=====IMPORTANT REMINDERS:1. Breaking the rules may result in suspension or banning from the Glow Community.Let's keep this positive and continue to gift it forward everyone!

Note from Admin about Ramzi, Nub, and Skull Theory posts

Hi everyone,We have been getting a lot of Ramzi Theory posts here in. There are a couple of specific groups for Ramzi, Nub, and Skull theory, where other community members who are also interested in the topic and more familiar with the Theory will see the posts. One is called "Ramzi, Skull & Nub theory guesses!" The other is called "Gender Predictions". Please do not post these here. If you do, they will be removed. If you see any posts like this here, please report them by clicking the "..." in the lower right hand corner and then selecting "report". I've been there, you're not the only one. Realizing that they are only little for a tiny amount of time has helped me do better. Everything is so new and exciting for them right now and I won't allow myself crush that spirit. This is the age where we are the most important person to them. This is our chance to win them - their love, their affection. It's our opportunity to let them take over our lives for a little while so that when they are older they will leave a spot for us in theirs. I've dealt with a lot of guilt from this, especially with my firstborn as I see him growing and needing me less. I wish I would've done better but at the time I was doing the best I could. I'm sure you are as well. I noticed when I react badly I always have too much going on. Simplify your life as much as you can, and remember that nothing is more important in that moment than your child. When you're tempted to yell, try lowering your voice instead.

My girl is also on the slower end when it comes to speech, however, she is bilingual thereby we think it is mostly because of that. She also has fluid in both of her ears which does not seem to dissolve in the past more than 6 months, so she will have an OP for that next week. But I can see she understands and reacts to everything I tell her (e.g. She understands things like “get your boots and walk to the door because we go to the shop by car” and after putting on shoes she heads to the garage not to the street, etc..).

2 birthdays for a 2 year old

My mom burned bridges with my in-laws and asked almost a year ago that we hold separate holidays and family events for her even though we all live within 30 minutes of each other. She is very sensitive and can be really jealous of others - my perspective was that she completely overreacted to the situation but would never admit it, so here we are. I went along with keeping everything separate for the holidays since we could do holidays at each family's home, but now that we're coming up on my daughter's 2nd birthday I'm feeling very angry with her for putting us in this position. Am I supposed to plan 2 birthday parties every year just because she can't get along with other people for an hour?

I say, have one party and invite everyone. If your mom does not want to attend, that’s on her. We have a similar family issue and I’m not accommodating anyone’s BS for our daughters 2nd birthday coming up.

Baby cries when he sees Grandma

My baby will be 2 in a week, this week his grandma came over to help out with him as I work full time and my usual sitter had to leave. Baby will cry as soon as she is in the room, she takes him to play group in the morning and it's tears all through. When I pick them up and have to leave he full on cries for like 30 mins, will settle down and when he remembers will start crying again. It's very distressing for me and his grandma and most certainly him! I still have to leave him though to get to work but wow it's hard. He used to see her often when he was younger like 6months to 1year and had no problems then. What can I do to help him overcome this? Send help!

We stopped at 10/11 months. She did not want to be breastfeed anymore. I would have liked to be stopped about 14-18 months only to make sure she had all of her baby vaccinations. For me it was easier to breastfeed when she was sick. She would heal faster.

Baby Number 3 on the way 🩵🩷

We found out earlier this month that our littlest baby is going to be a big brother 🥹 and our big boy is so happy he’s going to be a big brother again 🥰 Currently 6 weeks and due in Feb 😁
