Just found out I’m pregnant and baths are my safe haven can I still take them?

Yeah sure, just don’t have a really hot bath just warm. Also keep an eye on what you put in the bath as I noticed Epsom salts said not good for pregnancy. I just like to be cautious and read the back of things from now on. Otherwise I tend to have baths anyways because it’s more relaxing

I take a bath about once a week to help with my pelvic and back pain. Make sure that the water is a comfortable warm temperature. I also do not use any products in my bath like bath bombs or salts. I suffer from UTIs terribly though if there is even a trace of anything left in the tub so I stick to plain baths.

I bought a baby bath thermometer for my bathtub so I can still have baths! Makes it easier!! Just don’t go over 100 degrees and you’ll be good!

Yes, just nothing that's super hot. Usually I enjoy scalding hot showers and baths. Not while pregnant though. Raising your core temp is not good for baby. Also would recommend being super careful with additives. Bubble bath and the likes. Because pregnancy makes everything more sensitive and you're more prone to yeast infections. I was taking bubble baths up to 19 weeks when I got my very first ever yeast infection. Stopped that right quick. Didn't have another one after that.

Yes just not too hot, the things with hot baths is it can raise your body temperature if hot enough that's why doctors advise again them..congratulations 💜😍
