So a few days ago I felt like I had a cut down there. The next morning all of the vulvar area was raw and I was in so much pain. It hurt to walk, sit, and to pee. I have been with my partner for 3 years and we're monogamous and faithful to each other so I didn't think it was an STI. I went to the ER due to me having fever and bleeding. Tests came back that I did in fact have herpes. Im taking the pills the dr prescribed me but how do I deal with the pain? Since it's the first outbreak they said it tends to be the worst one. Its all swollen and raw, with open wounds all over. I also was prescribed litocaine but its not really working.
