How cold would you say is too cold to take a newborn on a 20 minute walk?

FTM so I’m a little freaked out about keeping him at the right temperature but I’d really like to get out of the house for a walk. It’s 28 degrees outside with a slight windchill 😯

Just dress your baby accordingly. If you need a long sleeve shirt and hefty jacket then so does baby. Same with pants, socks, and shoes or maybe a few layers of socks or something. Gloves/ mittens too if it’s that cold!

Well it’s 3c here which is 37f  and I take my little man out, I just make sure he has a vest, baby grow, little jacket and a warm blanket

Just dress him or her up really warmly and should be fine. I wouldn’t go out in the negatives for sure and 20 is certainly cold but a short walk should be fine. Would check how they’re doing after 10 min and go back if too cold.

We do a full onesie outfit with feet, then a sweater, booties, hat, mittens, a fleece blanket and a cover fit the car seat and she seems okay for walks!

No temp is too cold unless it’s near 0.  Just make sure baby is bundled up real good! Some babies are born and raised in extremely cold climates
