New Baby Lawn Signs

My friend just had a baby and her SIL hired a company to come overnight and stick lawn signs in front of her house announcing the birth and gender of the baby. Mind you, she just moved into the house about a month ago so she doesn't know any of the neighbours and she is a pretty private person on top of that...so she obviously hates it.

Below is an example I found on Google. Her lawn is maybe a third the size of this one, and they installed the same amount of signs but the designs are zoo animals, babies doing handstands, storks, ABC blocks, etc.

What do you think? Cute or tacky?
